A Text from Uncle this afternoon, 5-8-17.   Answered prayer in multiple ways. Please continue to pray for both David and Adam. Your prayers that strengthen David and Adam are providing copies of God's Word to people who will come to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus because you prayed Adam and David through a tough day.

Hi Ron..... We walked about 13 mi today and have set up camp in Little Gap Rd north of Palmerton, PA. We hitched a ride into that town and ate lunch at a Sub Way using a gift card gave by Kelly Eaker. Thanks K. Thought of you as we ate ginormus sandwiches, chips and cookies!

My foot is holding up OK. Lost my camp.shoes somewhere along the path so will hopefully be able to find some Crocs at the next place we get off which will be Delaware Water Gap which is where we cross into NJ.
Big answers to prayer today was seen with the ease we caught rides into town and back out to the trail. Plus we had to climb more very challenging rock faces and cliffs. I think these people are trying to kill us! Definitely working on a love-hate relationship with PA.

Destination: Eckville Shelter

We caught a shuttle from a local at 8am. We stopped and ate lunch at a place called the Pinnacle. It had a nice panoramic view of PA. The Eckville Shelter was very nice and enclosed. It was right behind the caretaker's house. He was a grumpy guy who wouldn't let us order pizza. We bunked that night with "Hot Pants", "Gypsy Queen" and "Lighten Up".
