Here in America, we have sayings that cover almost any situation that we could face. Where the Rubber Hits the Road, Fruits of our Labor are two such sayings. Could these two sayings possibly be used in the same sentence to explain the same situation. Such as David and Adam's hike to both raise awareness of the plight of the South Sudanese Refugees and to raise funding to supply these SD Cards, mp4 players, and copies of the printed scriptures. The following email tells us how the process is working, where the rubber is meeting the road, and the fruits of our labor, souls saved and churches planted to continue Jesus' command to us in Matthew 28.. The 500 plus miles hiked thus far by Uncle and Nephew, by you and I sharing posts on our FB pages, and you and I giving financially to this ministry so that Joseph can send future reports of lost souls becoming saved souls that we will meet one day in heaven. We will share more of these updates from what we will call ground zero of our purpose for this great undertaking in this Hike, as we are able. We pray you choose to Be Blessed.
The following post consists of correspondence between David(Uncle) Crane and Joseph Makuma
of the Baptist Convention of South Sudan.
(FROM DAVID)
Folks
I received this email from Joseph
Makuma, the main rep for the BCoSS in northern Uganda just the other day. I
felt you would want to read it and share if you think it worthy. It speaks of
the impact of both the MP4 players and the story cloths.
On another note, we have had a great
visit with the Lennon family here in Pomona NY. We arrived at their house
hobbling and worn out but will leave refreshed and ready to push on. The
Lennons are Adam's girlfriend's family.
REPORTS OF
PROCLAIMERS, IN TOUCH MESSENGER, AND SD CARDS
In ADJUMANI, we have several places that the PROCLAIMERS, IN TOUCH AND SD
CARDS have not yet reached. But in the places where these items have
reached they have changed the lives of the people, and what I really see is that if
we continue with these programs, it will help a lot. Many people are
requesting their own SD cards, Mp4 players or printed Bibles.
I have not yet received all the reports because of not yet reaching
the farthest
areas, but I can’t wait for all reports because I
know you want to raise some money for the future. Four churches were
planted, one is in OLUA I. another in PAKELLE, another in MAAJI,
and in PAGIRINYA.
In YUMBE, things are going on well when I conduct ANDREW; he told me he has
distributed the items in MIJALLE, MOYO REFUGEES SETTLEMENT, ARUA
REFUGEES SETTLEMENT, and CONGO. In these places, the Lord is doing
great things in the lives of both believers and unbelievers
What they are requesting is that more PROCLAIMERS, MESSENGERS, AND SD CARDS
in ARINGA, MADI, BARI is needed because these are the majority people in
BIDIBIDI.
Because of these items, people who didn’t know anything about the Bible, now know because they have their own copies of the scriptures.
People gave their lives to CHRIST; churches were planted and also keep most
of the believers and pastors busy.
The story cloth is doing great work in the churches we have both
refugees and host communities and also easy to explain to the listeners and
visible to everyone who is around.
Many people in the churches of Baptist convention we have here have
already composed songs and are asking whether I have communicated with
you. I told them you are busy trying to provide more copies of the scriptures
but you will tell me and I
will then tell them what you said.
Thank you Pastor David for helping us in this ministry. May God bless
you in Jesus Christ name. Amen

Joseph,
this is indeed my email. Please send any and all reports here. you can
also copy them to my personal face book account. But having them in email form
helps.
Edward please also encourage the guys in Kenya to send any reports about
how God has blessed the use of the MP4 players I sent to them via Tut Thomas.
He took them to Kakuma after he finished his Jan. semester.
Also Edward can you tell me what has happened to Mathew and Sarah Dhol?
Are they still trapped in Juba?
How is the brother in Bidibidi who was attacked by 2 Aringa in Jan?
Was Rose ever able to follow up with the ladies Renee and her team
trained in Jan?
We are now one month into our 2,181 mile hike. We have walked nearly 400
mikes. The trail has been very tough. Many rocks and steep hills. But we
are seeing the hand of the Lord always.
will then tell them what you said.
