From a Text from Uncle and Nephew,

Today we arrived near Lickdale, PA.  Heard big thunderstorms were coming in so we pitched out tents after walking 15.4 mikes near state road 72 or 443. Adam's guide showed there being a junction only 2 Miles away so after setting up the tents we decided to walk out to the road and try to hitch a ride. We no sooner set our feet in pavement then a local carpenter in a van stopped for us.  He was going shopping so said he would pick us up and return us. And he did. Still not raining but the clouds are black.

The walk today was an easy one through beautiful forest. We stopped to eat lunch by a mtn stream that was as scenic a site as one could hope to ever see. David has his foot issue today. A bump or knot has appeared on the right side if his heel, right foot. We put tape on it and are hopeful it will go away. Maybe all the rocks?

Adam said he had the same sort of bump appear on one of his feet as well. Maybe it is time to replace the "Super Feet" insoles. Adam said they are supposed to be good for 500 miles but maybe that is for more normal terrain.
We will arrive in Hamburg PA soon and there is a Cabelas there. Maybe pick some there. Just know we have thoroughly enjoyed PA thus far. The APTC vols who built and care for the shelters have done a great job. And locals like Randy have been pleasant.
